Southampton Marina and City Centre Walking Tour

Another great walk today, this time in the city of Southampton. The walk around the Ocean Village and the Marina was beautiful, with several multi-million pound yachts and cruisers to be seen. In several places the remains of the city walls were visible and there were even a few historic buildings that weren’t bombed during the Second World War. The QE2 mile runs from the Town Quay right through the heart of the city and all the main shops are along its route, plus two large shopping centres. We had an excellent coffee in the Nest Coffee Shop, which is also an antiques store, for a very reasonable £2 each. Find their Trip Advisor reviews here. The total route length was five miles and it was perfectly flat and easily accessible for all abilities. An outline of the map is below and a more detailed one can be found by searching for Southampton Walking Tour on Plotaroute.
