I’ve just been on a fantastic walking tour around the historic sights of Portsmouth’s Harbour and coast, and before you click away believe me it was absolutely fantastic. The walk is self guided and takes in 18 historic sights. The leaflet contains all the directions required, plus details for each of the sights. It’s smple to follow the route, which is mainly around the harbour and along the coast to Southsea Pier. At four miles long and relatively flat it’s easily achievable by most people and at the end you can either catch the bus back to the city centre or walk back. The leaflet is available free from Discovering Britain at this link https://www.discoveringbritain.org/content/discoveringbritain/walk%20booklets/Old%20Portsmouth%20walk%20-%20written%20guide.pdf
