Times They Are a Changing

A farmer I was delivering to in the truck this morning offered me a cup of coffee. I politely declined and asked if he could fill my insulated mug with hot water, which he did. A few minutes later he returned and handed me the mug. I apologised for not accepting his coffee and explained I had my own Yorkshire tea bags, sweeteners and semi skimmed milk. He asked what I’d had for breakfast. I told him I’d just eaten strawberries, raspberries and blueberries with Greek style yoghurt and granola. He laughed and said how times were a changing. I didn’t have the heart to tell him I was planning a run in the Thetford Forest during my break because I could sense he was already thinking “ponce”
