Lincolnshire Bicycle Tour

A couple of weeks ago it was a beautiful weekend and I took myself on my bicycle with my new panniers and handlebar bag for a tour around Lincolnshire.  The full tour was 165 miles and i spent two nights out camping.  The route I followed was from Claypole out to Cranwell via Caythorpe then cross-country to Ruskington and on to the River Witham Cycleway at Billinghay, in to Boston and out to Frieston, spending the night at the Bateman’s Brewery Visitor Centre Campsite at Wainfleet All Saints.  The following day I rode up the coast through Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes before turning inland through the Lincolnshire Wolds to a very nice site just north of Lincoln where the chap let me stay for free.  The final day saw me cycle through the heart of the City and then back in to the countryside to return home along the quiet country lanes.  All in all a very enjoyable weekend, albeit whichever direction I cycled the wind seemed to be on my face.  The link below will take you to my You tube Channel where you can see a video of the trip.
