The women in our house have this attitude that they don’t really care and they don’t do anything when you actually ask them too. The same is true for my lad come to think of it. Tonight, I proved that this theory only holds true as long as someone else picks the pieces up for them. If they don’t have a backstop then it doesn’t work.
My daughter has spent all day getting her nails done, having a nap and watching you tube vids. Tonight at 2200 her case to go on holiday tomorrow has only just been packed and her room is only vaguely tidy. The problem is it’s 3 kg over the weight allowance and she needs help. For a change instead of springing in to action I’ve told her not to bother me I’m having a nap. You can only begin to imagine all the nasty things she said and the volume coming out of her was horrific. I’m now in bed thinking that a valuable lesson has been learnt, but I can see she’s had it too easy for too long and she’s going to need a few more lessons before it finally sinks in.
Now to work on the other house members….!
