Sailing Boat Renovation Part Two – A look Inside

The video below is the second part of my sailing boat renovation series.  Last night my lad and I got all the seats and floor boards out of the garage and put them in place in the cabin of the boat.  When I took them out last autumn they were quite damp and really smelly; however, over winter the smell has gone and they’ve dried out really well.  Once we had them in place we took a realistic view about what actually needs painting and what doesn’t.  Remeber the name of the game here is minimum effort and trying to use the tools we have in the garage and hopefully some of the paints we already have too.  Certainly the sides of the cabin and the roof need painitng because the paint that’s on now is flaking really badly.  We aren’t going to paint the seats nor some of the areas that are already varnished because the seats will be covered with cushions and the existing varnish isn’t that bad, it just needs freshening up.  Enjoy the video and if you like it subscribe.
