I’m 3 days in to my second trip this year to France. Compared to the UK there are few vehicles on the roads, in every village and town few people are stirring and generally nothing is going on. In every village in England people are out cutting the hedge mowing the lawn odd jobbing and doing stuff. In France nothing is happening at all. I’ve seen one man stripping the paint from his front door and an old lady walking cows across the road. That’s it. So what does France do for a living or even a hobby?
Oh, and whilst I’m busy slagging France off I probably ought to mention the majority of French buildings and houses are desperately in need of a lick of paint too.
